Nakasu is located in Fukuoka City Hakata area, in between Naka River and Hakata River. The entertainmaint district of Nakasu runs along the Naka River for approximately 1 km, which covers multiple blocks surrounding the river. Main street of Nakasu is "Nakasu Chuou Douri".

Nakasu is on of the biggest entertainment district in western Japan, which is said to be similar to Osaka's Kitashinchi entertainment district.
Main attraction of Nakasu is the food stands, which is popular among locals and tourists. You can sure taste Fukuoka's gourmets at Nakasu.
Food stands tend to not have visible pricing thus people may hesitate on which one to start, so let me introduce you to some of the popular stands you can visit.
As the sunsets, food stands along Naka River and Tenjin area starts lighting up, welcoming locals heading home from work an tourists who are here to enjoy a good meal. There are over 200 food stalls in Fukuoka city, it is one of the biggest food stand areas in Japan. Types of food available are; Tonkotsu Ramen (Noodles), Yakitori (chicken skewer), Tempura, Oden (Stew), French, Italian, Chinese, grills, Chanko (Hot pot which is commonly eaten by Sumo wrestler), cocktail bar and many more.
This is a famous Ramen stall in Nakasu. It has been operating for 50 years, mainitaining it's original taste.
With Ramen, you must try Yakiniku (Beef BBQ) of Iki Gyu, which is a rare find.

Must try is "Yaki Ramen" (stir fried ramen). It has become common all over Japan now, however this "Yaki Ramen" was started by Kogane Chan. Noodle is cooked with Yakisoba sauce, finishing off with Tonkotsu broth poured on the noodles.
